Today is my birthday.
How am I feeling now? It’s as if I’m no longer in a small boat, but on a larger ship entering a misty fjord. The shores around me are still recovering from a natural disaster, healing and reshaping themselves. Yet my ship keeps moving forward into the unknown. I can still stand on the deck, breathe in the cool air, and enjoy the scenery while it lasts.
 

Physically, I’m celebrating the day at Beas River Country Club with good friends, and creating simple, joyful memories for kids. Later, I’ll spend time with family. Nothing extravagant — just simple moments, but full of quality.

  
Later in June, I’m planning a change of scene, shifting a little of my weight toward Canada so I can spend time with my mother and sister. Sometimes a change is good — a chance to take a fresh breath, to reset the rhythm of life. Hope all are good.

CLIFFORD & INTERESTS

 

 

Travelling was my main interest during my teens and 20s. I wanted to understand the world in its entirety - the history of empires, the diversity of people and cultures, the richness of art, food, and lifestyles. By the age of 28, I had visited around 36 countries and lived on 3 major continents.

 

Yet I found myself flowing with life's current, developing more diverse passions and devotions. While I still love travelling, primarily to immerse myself in different traditions and enjoy the serenity of nature, my interests have expanded and evolved over time.

 

I hope that all of you are able to find inspiration, hobbies, and a sense of purpose in your own lives. The journey of self-discovery and personal growth is an ongoing one, and the experiences we have along the way can be both challenging and deeply rewarding.
