Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them - that only creates sorrow.

Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.

WELCOME

June 1, 2023

The global economy is not good at the moment. It will be a challenge to withstand the remaining half of the 2023 for many. After months of efforts, I am relieved that my free-lance on NASDAQ IPO advisory has finally got a footing. Thanks. Yet I am also exploring other business opportunities. Some deals are slow moving, but there are progress. So I shall just keep swimming.

June is my birthday month. I am at a unique phase of life, like the story of an EAGLE:

Eagle has the longest life-span of its species. It can live up to 70 years. But to reach this age, the eagle must make a very difficult decision. In its 40th year, the eagle’s long and flexible talons can no longer grab preys. Its long and sharp beak becomes bent. Its old-aged and heavy wings stick to its chest and make it difficult to fly. Then, the eagle is left with only two options: die or go through a painful process of change.

This changing process lasts for 5 months. The process requires the eagle to fly to a mountain top and sit on its nest. There the eagle knocks its beak against a rock until it plucks it out. Then the eagle will wait for the new beak to grow back after which it will pluck out its talons. When its talons grow back, the eagle starts plucking its old-aged feathers. And after this, the eagle takes its famous flight of rebirth and lives for 30 more years!

I am in the progress of change too. The environment forces me to change. Guess many are encountering similar situation now. I must be thankful that I also have the heart to enjoy life, like spending time with family, going to gym, playing golf, and fostering meaningful relationship.

Hey friends, I hope you all can resolve the problems you are encountering.

With LOVE,

Frank Clifford

CLIFFORD & INTERESTS

Certainly, travel is more than the seeing of sights;
it is a change that goes on,
deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.

Miriam Beard

I love traveling, as I want to understand the whole world, the history (the rises and falls of empires), the people (humanity and morality), the culture (arts, food, lifestyles...) ... But most importantly, from the sight of diversity, I discover my stance in this world.

By the age 28, I have been to around 36 countries, lived in 3 major continents. Somehow, an inner voice told me "enough is enough". My travelling life style shall come to a change.

I hope you all find aspiration, hobbies and interest in life.

Kisses,
